My creative practice often deals with landscapes, seeking to locate our selves—our humanness—through clumsy encounters with nature. I hope to bring to light simple truths, to understand subjects as they really are: alive.

As an editor, I specialise in subjects of art, architecture and ecology.

[…] But what I remember most are Holly’s exhilarating poems seemed, each weekly workshop, to open a door on different worlds. Lyrical, self-scrutinising, attentive to the fine revelatory detail of place and landscape, these were really brilliant and sophisticated one-offs, […] I strongly recommend Holly. She is (as should be clear from her work ethic as an undergraduate student and subsequently) an outstanding, innovative writer, one of the best I have taught in the past twenty years.”

Alice Rawsthorn,co-author of Design Emergency

I met Holly in 2021 when she was tasked with working with Paola Antonelli and I as an editorial assistant at Phaidon Press on our book Design Emergency: Building a Better Future. A few months later, the book’s editor left Phaidon and Holly was left in sole charge of the editing process. She rose to the challenge with great skill and aplomb, and completed the process sensitively and efficiently. Paola and I are deeply grateful to Holly for her excellent work on our book, and look forward to following her future achievements.”
